This privacy policy governs your use of the software application FaceScan – AI Face Analyzer for mobile devices that was created by Developer Mohan Kumar Sah.

FaceScan lets you analyze facial features, symmetry, beauty score, golden ratio proportions, and more using on-device AI. All analysis runs locally on your device; photos are never uploaded to any server.

📊 What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information:

  • The Application does not require any user registration and does not ask for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
  • The only User Provided Data used by the Application are the images you capture with the camera or select from your gallery for analysis and ID photo creation.
  • All face detection, mesh extraction, beauty score, age estimation, similarity comparison, and golden ratio analysis are performed locally on your device using on-device AI models.
  • Any generated results (such as overlays, scores, or ID photos) are stored only on your device if you choose to save or export them.

Automatically Collected Information:

  • The Application does not automatically collect personal information or upload your photos to any remote server.
  • The Application does not collect precise location data about your device.
  • The Application does not share any information automatically with third parties.

📷 Camera & Gallery Access

FaceScan requires access to your device's camera and photo library in order to perform facial analysis and generate ID photos. This access is used only for:

  • Capturing live images for real-time face detection, face mesh, and analysis.
  • Selecting existing photos from your gallery for offline analysis and ID photo creation.
  • Saving processed results, overlays, and generated ID photos back to your device storage.

Your images and camera feeds are not transmitted to any server or third-party service by the Application.

🔒 On‑Device Processing & Privacy

FaceScan is designed to be privacy‑first. All AI models and calculations run on your device, and your images remain under your control.

  • No cloud processing or remote servers are used for face analysis.
  • Photos, facial landmarks, scores, and analysis results are not uploaded or shared by the Application.
  • Any optional history or saved results are stored locally on your device and can be deleted by you at any time.

🚫 User opt out rights

  • You can revoke camera and storage permissions for the Application at any time from your device settings, which will disable related features.
  • You can delete images and analysis results created with the Application directly from your gallery or file manager.
  • You can delete all app data by clearing the Application's data in system settings or by uninstalling the Application from your device.

💾 Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

FaceScan does not automatically collect or retain any personal information on external servers. All data remains on your device.

If you choose to save face analysis results, screenshots, or generated ID photos, they will be stored in your device storage and remain there until you delete them.

To remove all data related to the Application, you may delete saved images and uninstall the Application.

👶 Children

Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, nor do we use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13.

🔒 Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of data processed on your device. Because FaceScan processes images locally and does not transmit them to a server, your photos stay within your control.

While we follow best practices, no system can be completely secure. We recommend keeping your operating system and the Application updated to the latest versions for optimal security.

They should not be considered medical, psychological, or professional advice.

📝 Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy when changes are made. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

✅ Your Consent

By using the Application, you consent to the local processing of your images and analysis results on your device. At any time, no User Provided Data (such as your photos, facial landmarks, scores, or ID photos) will be shared, processed, or stored by third parties through this Application. User Provided Data cannot and will never be sold to any third parties.
